What is “The Secret in Modeling?”

Nothing less than all the most important life lessons I’ve learned in my career as a high fashion model on the world’s top runways, and now as a model scout searching for models.

The kinds of things you ought to know if you have a serious interest in succeeding in a big way as a model.

So “The Secret in Modeling” is not just one secret, but really many things. The really life changing things. The things that can take you from rank beginner to very, very successful working model with lots of bookings and the reputation (and bank account) to show for it.

I’ve put them together all in one place in a home study course for models that sums up my years of experience both as a high fashion model and now as an international model scout.

This is an incredible business with incredible opportunities for anyone with the talent and desire to go after it. What most aspiring models don’t know, can’t know starting out, is that to really make it big takes a lot more than good looks. A lot more.

As a scout I like to say “Your looks will get you in the door, but it will take more than that to keep you there.”

And I mean it. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen an up and coming model who by looks alone ought to be a shoe in for the next biggest super star.

Only to fizzle out and be left with not much to show in the way of success because she just doesn’t understand the most important inner qualities needed to succeed.

And by the same token I’ve scouted models who weren’t exactly what I was looking for physically, but who projected such fantastic inner qualities that I had to recommend them to my agency in any case.

And most of the time my hunch pays off and these models prove to me, again, that my instincts are correct. And they do really well.

I’ve also learned that when you understand what’s important on the inside, you can accomplish things that you couldn’t even imagine beforehand.

I’m talking about learning how to see things from your client’s perspective or how to be rejected at a casting and pick yourself up and go to another casting the next morning with the same enthusiasm. How to project from the inside that you are what the client is looking for. Or understanding that your self worth isn’t determined by whether or not you reach a certain level as a model or land a certain account.

The Secret in Modeling is all this and more. It is what guides me to select the models I scout for around the world today, and it is what helped me succeed as a model myself.
