Hi–I’m more than halfway through this scouting trip, but still 3 more cities to get to. I’ve just finished a Pro Scout event in New Orleans, which was preceeded by the IPOP and IMTA conventions in Los Angeles, combined with scouting at agencies in the city as well.
I’ve seen some good talent–young people with some very real potential. The ones who will continue to stand out in my mind as I press on to future destinations, agencies and interviews are those who let me see into their heart and mind somewhat. I really enjoyed those encounters. From what some of them said to me, it was apparently an event for them to be there and to speak to me. But you know what? It was for me too. It was very enriching and I’ll keep those conversations and smiles with me for a long time.
That is what I love so much about my job. The privilege of meeting so many unique and wonderful individuals.
Next stop Toronto. Supposed to be sub-zero there, but I’m willing to bet that I’ll be meeting some warm hearts there too.

Hey Kim,
I remember you for from IPOP, it’s William (there was probably a million williams you met that day but i was the one that stayed in the Hyatt near your suite.) Anyways it was an awesome opportunity to meet you and the advice you gave me, “It isn’t coming to an end, it’s just the beginning.” Still rings true in my mind that if you really want something you go out and get it. This said is exactly what am going to do. Thanks alot for the website you gave me that day and am still keeping a positive attitude =D. i hope to see you soon ! (who knows maybe next IPOP
